WYSE BY MONIQUE

Monique is a registered psychologist and certified yoga practitioner, and the founder of WYSEbymonique. Her work is grounded in a holistic philosophy that weaves together psychology, yogic wisdom, and integrative healing to support balance within the self.

Beginning her career in a clinical setting, Monique developed a strong foundation in conventional therapeutic approaches. Over time, her own personal journey led her to explore deeper layers of healing — an experience that now informs her work with clients seeking greater understanding, connection, and integration.

Her approach centres on the concept of equilibrium — the balance between science and spirituality, biology and psychology, structure and intuition. Recognising that there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing, Monique supports each individual in cultivating self-compassion, awareness, and acceptance of their full experience. She acknowledges that symptoms and diagnoses often reflect deeper patterns shaped by past experiences, conditioning, and the psyche.

Through her work, Monique creates a space for you to explore your inner world, gently challenge limiting beliefs, and reconnect with yourself through movement, stillness, and breath.

Deeply passionate about her work, Monique practices from a client-centred perspective where your story, experiences, and needs are truly heard. She offers both psychological therapy and 1:1 therapeutic yoga, drawing on a range of modalities to create an approach that is tailored to you. Her work continues to evolve as she explores emerging frameworks that deepen the connection between mind, body, and consciousness.

“When we explore the fullness of what it means to be human and begin to look inward, layers start to unfold — both seen and unseen. In this unfolding, we meet parts of ourselves that are ready to be acknowledged. It is an honour to hold a safe and supportive space, whether on the yoga mat or in a therapeutic setting, where this exploration can happen with curiosity, care, and connection.”
