— about us
Meet the Owner
Welcome to Eclipse Yoga & Wellness, I’m Ali the owner of this space, where I hope to show that true wellbeing is about coming home to ourselves, in body, mind and spirit.
I am trained in Tantric Hatha Yoga and an accredited Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapist, with a deep passion for the ancient teachings and wisdom of yoga and the way they can support us to live with greater awareness, balance and alignment.
For me, yoga is so much more than the physical practice of asana. It is a holistic journey that weaves together asana, pranayama and meditation - supporting us to connect with the body, work consciously with our energy, quiet the mind and cultivate a deeper sense of inner connection. I am passionate about sharing these teachings in a way that feels accessible, empowering and relevant to modern life, helping people develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their own capacity for healing and growth.
At Eclipse, my vision is to create a space where you can explore different pathways to wellbeing, all under one roof. Alongside yoga, we offer Pilates, sauna, holistic therapies and naturopathy, bringing together a range of practices that nourish the whole person and support a more balanced approach to health and wellness.
Eclipse is also home to my somatic therapy practice, where I offer one-to-one somatic healing, counselling and trauma processing from our private treatment rooms. This work takes a holistic approach to healing, recognising the profound connection between the mind, body and soul, and supporting you to gently reconnect with yourself, process what may be held within the body, and move towards greater safety, self-awareness and empowerment.
My hope is that Eclipse becomes more than simply a place you come to practise yoga or receive a treatment. I hope it becomes a space where you can slow down, reconnect, restore and discover new ways of being - a place to cultivate a deeper relationship with yourself and create a life that feels more balanced, conscious and aligned.
I’m so grateful to share this space with you and to walk alongside you on your wellbeing journey..
our heaters
Our studio uses far-infrared radiant heating technology, which is widely considered to be the best method of heating for hot yoga studios. Highly efficient, radiant heat warms the objects in the room instead of the air. The type of heat is likened to the warmth of the sun (minus the UV rays, of course!), as opposed to the drying feeling of warm air or the discomfort of regular bar heaters. The warmth penetrates the muscles to warm you up from the core (helping you to stretch) and is considered by many to assist with detoxification.
This heating technique is also used in our infrared sauna which provides a more comfortable experience than traditional steam saunas. Infrared saunas are recommended to be used at a lower heat for a longer period to experience the full benefits.
